I am sore after this! (PT Session)
PHYSICAL THERAPY/PHYSIOTHERAPY is a branch of rehabilitative medicine aimed at helping patients maintain, recover or improve their physical abilities.
In this album are few shots I have taken from Jon's session with Teacher Maricon, his PT for a year now. She meets Jon every Friday, but we missed her "hand" for a month due to Jon's seizure and hospitalization.
In the majority of instances that hospital workers encounter Jon, they could not appreciate a CP-patient in him, that's because Teacher con prevented him from going to posturing.
He progresses in response to physiotherapy but sadly, he regresses very swiftly too from seizure, hypoxia secondary to pneumonia and the likes.
Titled as "I am sore after this" because Jon is limp after his session with teacher Maricon, usually an hour to two, loosely translated as, he is very very tired, he just want to snooze in bed and funny he cries when disturbed.
Let us continue pray for him that his therapy may continue to keep him from regressing and through His grace may have his independent functioning.

I usually scourge (sorry for the word) MERALCO for any incidences of curtailed electricity supply..how can I not when my son's life might be left in peril once powered off from the vent..countless times that such incident happened to us-------ran to neighborhood for gen-set, or even rush to the nearest hospital..i humbly apologize dear MERALCO, peace peace..
JON's facebook: Just this morning we saw on TV the news of rotating brown out, Oh yeah, we're not even bothered anymore, just please not more than 10 hours...please????..
Jon's ventilator (rented by PCSO) is a portable type which has 10 hours battery life, cool!...the loophole is, the humidifier isn't battery operated...not a big issue actually but it is for Jon because HME is not effective at all for him..(HME is a very small gadget attached to the vent circuit that serves as artificial nose--that's what Carlo explained, for people in the medical field, i can call it as artificial cilia.While the vent gives oxygen, the humidification of the airway mechanism is bypassed by the tracheostomy ) so I am very happy to write today that someone sent a love donation for the purchase of power inverter. We used it first time this morning--effective!..
